Fuller Summary

Fuller is known for his Knowledge Doubling Curve which shows how people’s knowledge is increasing at a rapid pace. In the 1800’s, our knowledge doubled every century whereas today, because of the advanced technology, it doubles exponentially. It is predicted that it will double every twelve hours within the near future. Fuller is also known for his creation of the geodesic dome which is based off of synergetic geometry. By studying the forces and geometry in nature, he found a balance between compression and tension to create this structure. It is used today for a variety of reasons including as homes, climbing structures on playgrounds, and government buildings.
